Sharla's Holiday Cocktails

What better way to ring in the Holidays than with fun and delicious cocktails fit to add fabulous flare to any occasion you may be celebrating this fall and winter season. I hope you enjoy these recipes as much as I have! Cheers! -Sharla


Rudolph's Roy Rodgers:


  • Ice

  • 8 oz. Cola

  • 2 tbsp Grenadine

  • 1 Maraschino Cherry


  1. Place ice in 12 oz. glass 3/4 full.

  2. Slowly pour Cola and Grenadine in glass and stir.

  3. Garnish with a Maraschino cherry and insert straw.

Santa's Shirley Temple:

Same as Rudolph's Roy Rodgers, just substitute Cola with 7-Up.

Grinch Punch:


  • 1 half gallon of Lime Sherbert

  • 1- 2 liter bottle of 7-Up

  • Pineapple juice

  • Green food coloring

  • Red sanding sugar


  1. Mix all ingredients in a punch bowl

  2. Garnish rims of glasses with red sanding sugar

Fall Cocktails 

Pecan Pie Martinis:


  • 6 oz. Rumchata

  • 6 oz. Creme de Cocoa

  • 3 oz. Bourbon

  • Pecan halves/crushed pecans

  • Whipped cream

  • Cinnamon


  1. Combine Rumchata, Creme de Cocoa, and Bourbon in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice, shake until cold.

  2. Pour into martini glasses and top with a dollop of whipped cream, whole/crushed pecans, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Apple Cider Margaritas:


  • 2 cups Apple Cider

  • 1/2 cup Tequila

  • Lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, apple slices (for rim).

  • Cinnamon sticks for garnishing


  1. In a pitcher, combine cider, Tequila and lemon juice.

  2. Dip rims of glasses in water, then into mixture of sugar and cinnamon.

  3. Garnish with an apple slice and cinnamon stick.

Holiday Cocktails

Peppermint Mimosa:


  • Peppermints

  • Peppermint Sticks

  • Peppermint Schnapps

  • Champagne/Prosecco

  • Mint


  1. Add 1 oz. of peppermint schnapps to glass and top with champagne/prosecco.

  2. Garnish with Mint, peppermints, and peppermint sticks.

Cranberry Mimosas:


  • Champagne

  • Cranberry juice

  • White sanding sugar

  • Cranberries


  1. Pour once part cranberry juice into Champagne flute.

  2. Pour in four parts Champagne.

  3. Use white sanding sugar for rim.

  4. Garnish with cranberries

Christmas Cranberry Fizz:


  • 1/2 cup Cranberry juice cocktail

  • 2 oz. Gin

  • 2 oz. Orange Liqueur

  • Club Soda

  • Fresh Rosemary

  • Cranberries


  1. Combine cranberry juice, Gin, orange liqueur, and ice into shaker.

  2. Shake well until chilled.

  3. Pour into glass over ice.

  4. Fill rest of glass with Club Soda.

  5. Garnish with fresh Rosemary and cranberries.

Cranberry Margarita:


  • 1.5 cups Cranberry juice

  • 3/4 cup of lime juice

  • 3/4 cup of Tequila

  • 1/2 cup of Orange Liqueur

  • Cranberries

  • Ice


  1. Stir all ingredients together until blended.

  2. Garnish with cranberries and lime if desired.

  3. Serve over ice.

Sugar Cookie Martini:


  • 1.5 oz Vanilla Vodka

  • 1.5 oz Bailey's

  • 3/4 oz Amaretto

  • 3 tbsp. milk

  • Vanilla icing and sprinkles (for garnishing)


  1. Dip the rim of a martini glass into Vanilla icing.

  2. Dip coated rim into a plate of sprinkles.

  3. Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice.

  4. Shake well until chilled and strain into glass.

Gingerbread Man/Snickerdoodle Martini:


  • 3 oz. Vanilla Vodka

  • 1.5 oz. Bailey's

  • 1/2 oz. Pepperming Schnapps

  • 1.5 oz. milk

  • Whipped cream

  • Sugar

  • Brown Sugar

  • Gingerbread man/Snickerdoodle Cookie


  1. Dip rim of martini glass in water and then onto plate with mixture of white and brown sugar.

  2. Add Vanilla Vodka, Bailey's, Peppermint Schnapps, and milk into shaker. Shake well until chilled.

  3. Strain into martini glass.

  4. Top with whipped cream and cookie.
